It used to be just a few short years ago when the SEA Games would be a biennial event to look forward to. If not for the newspapers, one would be forgiven for missing the whole event. How lowly has this regional sports event fallen, to not warrant even live coverage on free-to-air TV?? And of course don't even mention ASTRO-lah...
I guess the dismal performance of our contingent so far has little to do with it...there's just no money in it!! After all, everything is about money these days.
And as usual, our footballers were sent
packing early - or would they be around a bit longer for some sightseeing?
